Hey Clay County! April 2018 Events

If you don’t know Amtgard, click here! It’s really fun medieval combat & roleplay. Foam-weapon-fighting, spell-casting, story-lines, personas, and a whole lot of creativity and imagination.
From their website: “the society, culture, and game rules have developed over three decades to bring a rich, varied experience to tens of thousands of members. Whether you want to learn a craft, adventure in quests, or just plain hit your friends, Amtgard has a place for you.” Be right back, SIGNING UP! (This one isn’t a county event, it’s just our space. (It sounds pretty awesome so I thought I would let you guys in on the details)
Visit the Facebook Event Page for information regarding pricing, event times and much more.

When: Saturday, April 28th 9am-12pm

Where: Maple Woods Community College 2601 NE Barry Road, Kansas City, MO 64156

We do the Shred-It event several times a year and try to hit different areas of the county each time. Bring any documents you need shredded and we’ll do it right before your eyes with special shredding-trucks. Just roll up in your car and we’ll take it from there. This is hosted by your Clay County Commissioners, who hope to increase awareness of identity theft and help make our community a safer place to live.

Other Info: Please use Barry Rd entrance. Limit 2 boxes
